Role Play Hood is registered in England and Wales under the company number 15669142. Our registered address is Role Play Hood Unit 1A-1B, Coopers Court, Caerphilly Road, Ystrad Mynach, CF82 7EP. If you wish to contact us, please email enquiries@roleplayhood.co.uk

Supervision and Responsibility

1.0 All children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult (18+ years) at all times. Role Play Hood is not responsible for supervising children.

2.0 The supervising adult is responsible for the safety, behaviour, and actions of the children in their care. Any damage caused by a child or their guardian will be the responsibility of the accompanying adult.

3.0 Every Visitor and child has the right to an enjoyable experience whilst visiting Role Play Hood. We reserve the right to protect our premises and those not meeting our standards will be kindly asked to leave without a refund.

Tickets Transfers & Refunds 

1.1 All children admitted to Role Play Hood must hold a valid ticket obtained via our website online booking system. Tickets cannot be purchased and will not be accepted by third party providers. 

1.2 Refunds will only be issued if Role Play Hood has to cancel an event or session in circumstances beyond our control. Otherwise deposits and payments are non-refundable.

1.3 All customers with pre-booked tickets will receive email confirmation along with a booking reference which acts as proof of purchase. Please check you have received this email following purchase. Your booking reference is required upon arrival as proof of purchase to gain access to Role Play Hood. We take no responsibility should you not receive this email due to reasons outside of our control e.g junk or spam. 

1.4 Customers with pre-booked tickets are given priority entry and we cannon guarantee entry for visitors without prior online booking.

1.5 The ticket price excludes food and beverage and access to private parties/events. Activities provided by an external provider may be subjected to separate fees and will be advertised accordingly.

1.6 The person purchasing tickets accepts these terms & conditions on behalf of every visitor and is responsible for ensuring these terms are communicated to and followed by all visitors attending.

1.7 Birthday parties are strictly non-refundable.

Our Play Session Times & Closures

2.0 You are asked to arrive at Role Play Hood no sooner than 5 minutes before your play session starts. Children will not be permitted to play until their play session starts. 

2.1 Customers who arrive after the start of their play session will be required to leave at the end of their play session as per their booking time.

2.2 Following each play sessions Role Play Hood will close 30 minutes in between sessions allowing staff to clean, tidy and reset play/cafe areas. 

2.3 On rare occasions Role Play Hood opening hours may be subjected to change without prior notice and every effort will be made to communicate this as widely as possible via social media and our website.

2.4 Role Play Hood reserves the right to close all or part of the hood should there be a risk to the safety of visitors and staff.

Rules Of Entry 

3.0  Children displaying signs of illness (such as fever, vomiting, or rash) will not be permitted entry to ensure a safe environment for others, you must not visit Role Play Hood for 48 hours.

3.1 If a child or adult becomes sick or infectious whilst at Role Play Hood they will kindly be asked to leave without a refund. 

3.2 Outside food cannot be consumed in Role Play Hood, we enforce a strict no-nut policy to protect visitors with allergies. Please inform us of any specific allergies or medical needs.

3.3 For hygiene and safety reasons children and adults must wear socks in the play areas at all times. If necessary, socks can be purchased at Role Play Hood.

3.4 Role Play Hood is a smoke free facility and smoking is prohibited anywhere on our premises, including the use of e-cigarettes.

3.5 No pets are allowed except for assisted animals. 

Photography & Media

4.0 Guests may take photos of their own children. However, photographing other children without consent is prohibited.

4.1 Role Play Hood may occasionally take photos for marketing purposes, with prior written consent from parents/childminders 

Security & Safety 

5.0 CCTV systems are installed externally and internally at Role Play Hood to enhance the security of the building. The intended purpose of CCTV if for:

• Protecting the buying and its assets both during and after opening hours.
• Reducing the incidence of crime and anti-social behaviour.
• Assist in identifying, apprehending and prosecuting offenders of criminal activities.

5.1 Video monitoring of public areas on our premises is for security purpose only and is limited to uses that do not violate the individual’s reasonable expectation to privacy
